If you have chosen Gran Canaria as the destination for your holidays, we believe you should not miss an island tour.

Going round the island is one of the excursions we recommend most to our guests. You can either do it with your own car or on an organised trip.

If you wish to go on the excursion using your own car, it is interesting to know that Gran Canaria is a round island where you will hardly find a spot where the sea is out of sight. The island road network enables visitors to go towards any area of the island in short time.

Gran Canaria’s main appeal is the weather which is always warm but shows microclimates that live together barely a few kilometres away from each other. Therefore, if you wish to go to the beach, but in the area you find yourself in the weather is a bit dull, you can be sure that after only a few minutes drive, you will find brilliant sunshine to take advantage of the beach and sunbathe. The opposite is also valid. If you prefer a cooler temperature, you only have to leave the hotel area and get closer to the summits or simply ask for the weather forecast in other regions of the island.

The maximum distance between any two main points never exceeds 80 kilometres and Gran Canaria can be covered from north to south, from east to west or any of the combinations you choose in really short time.

You must keep in mind that whatever the excursion you decide to go on, you are sure to find everything you need for a perfect day trip. You will be able to choose between a typical Canarian restaurant or a bar for a small snack, or if you are a nature lover, you can enjoy natural views from a picnic area only a few metres away from the road.

From north to south, Gran Canaria offers a vast number of villages and places that are worth visiting such as Fataga in the south, Artenara and Cruz de Tejeda at the summit, Teror in the centre of the island and Agaete and its port in the north.

During your stay on the island, we recommend you keep a day to visit Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Go for a stroll in the old town centre of Vegueta, then walk through Triana, one of the city’s main streets, or along Las Canteras sea promenade to admire one of the most beautiful city beaches of Spain.

We wish you a very happy stay on Gran Canaria!
