In spite of its reduced surface area, Gran Canaria boasts of inestimable beautiful landscapes. Its singular ecosystem and its fauna and flora are in many cases exclusive here and this is what has ensured their preservation.

The natural spaces on Gran Canaria are known as Natural Park, Rural Park, Integral Natural Reserve, Special Natural Reserve, Natural Monument, Protected Landscape and Site of Scientific Interest. All the zones encompassed in these spaces are well-worth a visit.
