Gran Canaria, much more than just beaches
Gran Canaria
CONTRASTS OF A MINIATURE CONTINENT
MUCH MORE THAN A SUN-AND-SAND DESTINATION
The pocket-sized island of Gran Canaria boasts huge contrasts. A central mountain range, with a maximum height of 1,949 metres above sea level, separates the north – full of tiny beaches and pebbled coves – from where we are in the south, with its famous dunes and sweeping sandy beaches. To the west of the island, meanwhile, are the cliffs.
Each area has its own particular character and even different microclimates, but always with a privileged climate and sea temperature.
